Medical Emergency

Hi, my name is Melinda and I'm trying to raise funds for my son Cameron and his family! Cameron is 32 years old and married with 2 small children. He has always been in great health but a week and a 1/2 ago he came down with what seemed to be the flu! He woke up yesterday morning, Sunday February 12th, and was paralyzed from the waist down They took him by ambulance to the hospital here in town and they had to transfer him to the hospital in Des Moines! As soon as they got him there they did an MRI and said he had to have emergency surgery he had a mass pushing on his spinal cord!! They got in there and it was an abscess from infection!! They cleaned it out and got everything and relieved the pressure, but he still has hardly any feeling or movement!! He has a long road ahead of him with physical therapy and such!! The funds are needed for medical expenses that insurance isn't going to cover and other related expenses!! He will be off work for quite a while , we don't even have any idea how long. He will get some pay but not his full wage and his wife is missing work to help take care of him!! So some of the funds will go to sustain the family and gas and things to get back-and-forth and all those kind of expenses!! We really need everybody's help to get them through this tragedy!!
