Help my family survive and evacuate from Gaza

Hello, I'm Hamdi from Gaza, We have created this fundraiser to seek assistance for a critical and urgent situation that has occurred to our family members in Gaza. We have no other options to save our family and children to live safely in light of the compelling circumstances and the difficult life of displacement that we live in Gaza including witnessing the destruction, death, and hunger of countless families, friends, and neighbors.

We spent difficult days since the beginning of the war under belts of fire, phosphorous bombs, and shells. We had to flee the house several times in the middle of the night, and on December 2, the army called us and ordered us to evacuate to Rafah. We couldn't take a lot of luggage with us and had to leave everything behind. We struggled to reach Rafah, where there was no shelter and no necessities for life.

After we’ve lost our homes, and jobs, Our family lives in tents that do not protect our children from the severe cold. We are starving, freezing, and barely surviving day to day. We need to buy my family's daily needs and essentials; but the prices are very expensive , and we have great difficulty getting things!

In refugee camps, where we live in tents and our dreams struggle between hope and despair, our family is experiencing unimaginable suffering. Rafif and Hisham, my two beloved children, are victims of war, having lost their right to basic education due to the harsh conditions imposed by the ongoing conflicts.

Like any family, we used to plan for our children’s lives and dream of educating them and fulfilling their dreams. But how can we achieve these dreams in an environment that lacks the most basic educational requirements? The schools that were their safe haven have become out of reach, depriving them of the opportunity to learn and grow.

We hope that your donations will enable Rafif and Hisham to complete their studies, achieve their goals, and live in peace and security like all children in the world.

As a result of the war in Gaza, we have been in difficult conditions since the 7th of October, as we were displaced from our place several times. Finally, we were displaced to refugee camps in Rafah city in the south of the Gaza Strip,

During the ground invasion of Khan Yunis, our family's four-story house, which had served as a military barracks, was bombed and destroyed. We reflected on the years of hard work put into building and decorating our home, now lost along with our cherished memories. With our home gone, we face a future without a place to return to after the war. We lost everything!

How will we use the money?

The cost of living is rising sharply, making it increasingly difficult for us to meet our basic needs. Essentials like food, vegetables, and bread are becoming harder to find and more expensive, adding to our daily struggles. and We will use the money to assist our family to get out of Gaza and offer us a decent life, after months of suffering and struggling in these inhuman situations.

Your donations will cover the necessities, travel fees, accommodations, and flights out of Egypt should we be able to secure them safe passage which we need to pay for coordination of the Rafah crossing, which costs $5,500 per person
