Team Judy Cancer Support - Round 2

My brave and badass sister, Judy is once again battling cancer.

Last September, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, and she spent all of 2020 courageously fighting this disease, with several rounds of chemo, and three surgeries.

In May 2021, she was pronounced as “in remission". She began to put the pieces of her life back together, resumed work full-time, and was on the road to putting cancer behind her.

In July, she suffered a small bowel obstruction, caused by scar tissue from her previous surgeries. Yet another surgery was performed to correct the obstruction. During surgery, her doctor noticed signs of new cancer developing around her intestines. Because of the size and the spread of cancer, it has been deemed inoperable.

During her hospital stay to recover from surgery, Judy received the news from her new job that they were unwilling to hold her position for 6 weeks to allow her to recover. Suddenly, the woman that just got back on her feet has learned that she is once again without income and fighting for her life.

I realize that times are tough for so many of us, and any gift that you can donate is so much appreciated! Every dollar will be spent to help Judy to keep a roof over her and her boy’s heads, keep them fed, and keep the lights on, as she fights cancer one last time!
