Support Luke Marino & Elisa Frank

Hi everyone, we are setting up this GoFundMe page for our beautiful friends Luke Marino and Elisa Frank.

Luke who is 33 years old, 5 weeks ago was diagnosed with testicular cancer and has recently undergone surgery. He still has to undergo chemotherapy soon and is unable to continue work as a disability support worker due to the physical and mental stress of finding out this unbearable news at the age of 33. He is struggling and overwhelmed with the whole situation and the unknown to come in the near future. The financial stress adds to the current burden of dealing with all of this in daily life.

His beautiful fiancé Elisa is his main carer and devotes most of her time to Luke, while at the same time juggling work and trying to organise their upcoming wedding this year in June in Italy, where all of her family are based.

These two people have been best friends and together for over 10 years and are both the kindest and most loving couple that would do anything for anyone and now at such a young age have to go through this whilst looking forward to one of the best days of their lives.

If we can all chip in and help alleviate the financial stress of not being able to work and focus on Luke’s health and well-being through his treatment it would be greatly appreciated.

Any support will help Luke gain his physical and mental health back and push him towards a more positive journey to find the strength to keep his “thumbs-up” attitude to life.

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to update you on Luke further to keep you all informed on his journey.

Luke is now undergoing monthly surveillance with the oncology team at GCUH and will be under close observation for the next 5 years.

In the meantime Luke will also be undergoing an immune boosting therapy and focussing on his mental and physical health after this traumatic time. Thanks again for your kind support as this will help Luke to try and re build his emotional and physical state after being diagnosed with this.

Your prayers, thoughts, donations and support from all over the world has touched both Luke and Elisa and knowing they have this support means ao much to them both.
