Jon has dreamed of playing college baseball since he first picked up a bat at 4 years old. This January, he’s been invited to Miami, Florida to train with top college coach Mervyl Melendez and the Tat2 Tornadoes — a huge step toward his lifelong dream.

We’re raising $800 to cover his showcase fee, airfare, and hotel, so Jon can take the field and be seen by college recruiters.

Funds will be spent for:

$375 for showcase entry fee

$425 for flight and two night stay to travel with his teammates

Jon is a 17-year-old student-athlete for the North Wildcats, known for his work ethic, humility, and heart. He’s played baseball every single year since he was four — always showing up, rain or shine, determined to grow. Though he’s also competed in track, basketball, and football, baseball has always been where he feels most at home.

Recently, Jon joined the Tat2 Tornadoes travel baseball team, who’ll be heading to Miami this January for a college showcase led by Coach Melendez, one of the nation’s top college recruiters and development coaches. This event will give Jon advanced training, real exposure, and a chance to take his game — and confidence — to the next level.

Off the field, Jon continues to impress. He maintains an A average and is enrolled in his school’s accelerated program, working toward graduating high school with an associate’s degree. His discipline and dedication show up in everything he does.

The past few years haven’t been easy — Jon’s pushed through family challenges, favoritism, and even moments of sports burnout, but he’s come out stronger than ever, giving 100%, 100% of the time.
