Jackies journey through stage IV Lymphoma has been filled with mountains and valleys- and while we are all believing for a full recovery, we know that cancer comes tethered with chemotherapy, experimental treatments, time away from home, and a scattered pattern of progress. Jackies situation is no different.
We’re calling on friends, family, and strangers wishing to spread a little love to donate towards Jackie’s next 5 months in Houston where she will be receiving a stem cell transplant and undergo experimental treatment for her Lymphoma.
Donations will cover costs for rent if necessary, parking, gas, insurance, medications, food, and other day to day costs.
We have had a front row seat to Jackie’s tenacity, her firm grip on fighting, and her grit for continuing a normal life in the middle of a tough diagnosis. And while we see her strength first, we also feel her angst for another round of treatment paired with its setbacks and know she is leery of another season of pause while her body tries to heal.
Jackie will be admitted at MD Anderson, and because of blood thinners and an extremely low immune system after chemo, will be unable to leave the hospital for 3 weeks, also keeping her from working as she normally would and bringing in little to no income.
With a community full of believers and cheerleaders for Jackie, I know we can relieve the stress of 5 months in Houston in deep treatment for her with willing hearts. Please share with your peers and give if you can, and continue lifting Jackie up for a full and fast recovery. Thank you
