Hi, my name is Jay Kowalczyk, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for someone incredibly dear to me, my good friend Maggie Anderson, her young daughter Chloe, and their beloved dog Stella. Today, Maggie and her family experienced an unimaginable tragedy: a sudden electrical fire completely destroyed their home. In a matter of minutes, everything was gone. Clothes, furniture, memories, the things that make a house a home, all reduced to ash. While we are so grateful that Maggie, Chloe, and Stella made it out safely, they are now left with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.

The fire took everything, and now they’re facing the daunting challenge of starting over from scratch. What makes this especially heartbreaking is that Chloe is set to go back to school in just a few weeks. Instead of looking forward to this new chapter with excitement, she now faces it with uncertainty, without school supplies, clothes, or even a bedroom to sleep in. No child should have to go through something like this. Maggie is one of the strongest, kindest people I know, always the first to help someone else in need. Now, she needs our help. Every dollar raised will go directly toward essentials: temporary housing, clothes, school supplies for Chloe, and the basic needs to help them get back on their feet.
