First off, I would like to say that I am making this page for my parents, as they are in a financial hardship.
As many of you know, my parents, Karl and Roxanne, have been raising 3 of their grandchildren, (ages 16, 14, 12), for almost 14 years now. My father lost his job back in July of 2010, due to the hospital reorganization of departments. After 2 years of being unemployed, he found work in McAlester, OK. In February 2015, he lost that job, as well, due to the reorganization of the hospital departments. He has steadily and diligently been searching for a job, every single day, with no luck. I know prayer is the biggest help anyone can give, but they are falling behind on payments and are struggling. They receive just under $100 a month to feed the 3 grandchildren and themselves, from government assistance. It just isn't near enough and the children are growing. They do, however, receive child support for 2 of the grandchildren and that money goes towards their clothing, shoes, and activities that they are involved in, while in school and during the summer. My sister, Karyn, also lives with my parents. She has a traveling job, so she is rarely home. She does the best she can to help them, but doesn't make enough income to provide for everyone.
Many of you also know that my mother has many health issues that require daily intake of medications. She has Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Thyroid Disease, Asthma, heart issues and depression. She also has fibromyalgia and a paralyzed diaphragm which also requires daily intake of medication. Without these medications, her health will only deteriorate. I pray that they can receive the help needed to provide what she and my father need. Praying that God will open up a door of opportunity for my father, as well.
I feel, in my heart, that God has called me to make this page to reach out to others to receive help in their hardship. They don't normally ask anyone for anything, but under their circumstances, they have run out of options. They didn't plan this, but fully understand that life throws curve balls sometimes. A little more often than not, in recent years. We all have Faith that God is going to take care of them and help them in any way He can. In order to fulfill His plan, we have to help Him by taking steps, like making this page. I know that we are not quite tuned into God's will. We can come up with hundreds of ways to make more money, like this page, but they may not work. Trusting God and His provision is where financial security comes from. Sometimes, we don't agree with God on how much is enough, but we have to remember that His plan will prevail. Turn your eyes and heart on Him and everything we need will be provided for us. We hope to, one day, be able to bless others in return without fear of running out.
I appreciate you taking the time to open up this page and taking the time to read through. Please prayerfully consider helping my parents out, financially. No amount is too small. Thank you so much and God Bless you!
