15 days ago my husband and I were diagnosed with COVID. We had no idea what we were in for when we started experiencing symptoms. We have had any range of symptoms from fever, loss of taste and smell to all the typical symptoms as well as weird symptoms like bleeding in our urine to extreme dizziness and my tongue tingling for 10 days while I could not taste or smell. What we didn’t expect was that it would attack my husband in a more serious way. Last Wednesday we had to take him to the hospital, he was pale and short of breath. When we got to the hospital his oxygen saturation 77%. They immediately put him on a bipap and pulling blood, chest X-rays, renal ultrasound and doing what needed to be done. After receiving the lab work and chest X-rays back we found out how bad he really was. He was in heart failure, kidney failure and had pulmonary edema. He had to be transferred to Fort Sanders Hospital to ICU. I couldn’t be with him or see him at all. I’m thankful for all the answered prayers and that God has spared my husband though he and I are still very sick. In this process I’ve been out of work 15 days with no pay and I’m struggling to catch up on bills. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone that knows me knows I’m not the kind of person to ask for help. I usually just work more to make up for the difference. I want to thank you for any thing you may be able to contribute to help.
