Y6 Edale Residential

In order to raise funds to support our Edale visit, we usually have an apprentice sale in Year 6. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, this is not possible this year. In place of this, we are organising a sponsored walk. Over several weeks, the children will be completing laps of the school grounds to equate to the distance of walking to Edale. In order to raise funds for Edale, they will be asking for sponsorship from their family, friends and the school community. In addition to this, the staff will also be completing a sponsored walk to Edale. They will be setting off from Lydgate Junior School on Sunday 6th June and walking all the way to Edale.
