Hello Friends, We are doing this fundraiser for a very dear Friend and Family in Canyon Lake. We have known Danny and Jen for the last 5 years and unfortunately Danny has PSC. Most of us don't have any idea what this is......  As a result Danny cannot perform his job as an engineer for Amtrak. This has left alot of burden on the family. Jen has gotten a full time job at Stater Bros but it's still not enough to sustain their everyday life and the finances that come along with having 3 children, rent, bills, etc. They are an amazing family and could really use our help. 
Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) is a chronic, progressive and devastating autoimmune disease of the bile ducts that often leads to liver failure and the need for a liver transplant(Danny is curently waiting to be placed on the transplant list to recieve a new liver). Affecting thousands of people worldwide, PSC can strike anyone out of nowhere. The growing numbers of cases highlight the need for treatments and a desperately needed cure. 
Danny fights EVERY SINGLE DAY. Some of you have been seeing what a struggle it's been for him lately and Danny, the kids and Jen are so blessed to have such great support and help with their kids. This disease will knock him down for a long period of time but, when he is feeling a smidge of energy, which is usually all he gets, he will be seen at baseball practice or a cheer competition just so his kids will know he is there for them. We know how hard it is on him to not be involved in the everyday things the kids and Jen do, the chores around the house and everything in between, but we keep in mind that this is only temporary and he will win this fight!
We would all really appreciate any help that you can provide. As a person that has lost someone to a liver disease, I can't express how scary and real this issue is. Not only is a Liver crucial to survive but so are our donations.
