Support Lupita's Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends and Community,

My name is Anahi Flores, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Lupita Dominguez. Recently, Lupita received the heartbreaking news that she has stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer. She will soon begin chemotherapy and, as you can imagine, has a tough journey ahead.

I first met Lupita back in 2013 when we worked together at a local non-profit. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to witness her incredible dedication — not just to her career in Child Development, but also to her role as a devoted mother to her three wonderful children. If you’ve ever met Lupita, whether personally or professionally, you know how deeply she cares for the children and families she serves.

Because her work involves close, daily interactions with young children, Lupita will need to step away from her job to focus on her health and healing during treatment. This is a difficult transition for someone who pours her heart into helping others every day.

Lupita has been my best friend for over 12 years. She is the kind of person who shows up for everyone — offering love, support, and kindness without hesitation. Now, she needs her community to show up for her. Even though she would never ask for help herself, I know that any support — whether financial, emotional, or simply sharing this message — would mean the world to Lupita and her family as they navigate this incredibly challenging time.

Queridos Amigos y Comunidad,

Mi nombre es Anahi Flores, y estoy compartiendo esta triste noticia de parte de mi querida amiga, Lupita Dominguez. Recientemente, Lupita recibio una diagnostificacion dificiles y le han inforado que tiene cancer de mama triple negativo en etapa 2. Pronto comenzara quimoterapia y, como pueden imaginar, tiene un lucha dificil por delante.

Conoci a Lupita por primera vez en 2013 cuando trabajabamos juntas en una organizacion sin fines de lucro. A lo largo de años, he tenido la suerte de presenciar su increible dedicacion, no solo a su carrera en el Desarollo Intantil, sino tambien su papel como madre devota a sus tres maravillosos hijos. Si alguna vez han tenido el placer de concer a Lupita, ya sea personal o profesionalmente, saben lo profundamente su pasion por los ninos y las familias a las que les sirve.

Debido a que su trabajo implica interacciones cercanas y diarias con niños pequenos, Lupita tendra que alejarse de su trabajo y ahora centrarse en su salud durante su tratamiento. Esto sera una transicion dificil para alguien como ella que dedica su tiempo y corazon en ayudar a los demas todos los dias.

Lupita ha sido mi mejor amiga durante mas de 12 años. Ella es el tipo de persona que se presenta por todos, ofreciendo amor, apoyo y amabilidad y ahora, necesita que su comunidad se presente por ella. A pesar de que ella misma nuna pediria ayuda, se que cualquier apoyo, ya sea financiero, emocional o simplemente compartiendo, significaria el mundo para Lupita y su Familia mientras tratan de navegar estos momentos increiblemente dificil.

Gracias desde el fondo de mi corazon por considerar un regalo de apoyo para esta increible mujer que ha dado tanto a la comunidad.
