Our 12-year-old Penny severely broke her leg on Memorial Day. It required major surgery, during which her eye (she had glaucoma and it needed to come out anyway) was also removed to avoid two surgeries. Penny is such a strong, loving, old girl. She is our heart dog. I never wanted to do this. However, Penny has been in the hospital over a week. I am crying uncle and ready to admit that we need help. We have had some people reach out asking us to start one of these so they can contribute. Here it is. Most of you know that we went through surgery with Baby Olive in the last year and a half. Penny’s bill has now surpassed Olive’s and we weren’t even through paying that one off. The amount being asked for is what the bill was as of Monday night, June 4. I don’t expect to get anywhere near that amount. I just put it down so people know why I finally broke down. If anyone would like to see the most recent invoice, I can share it with you. Once this is done, if we get any donations, I will post showing that every cent went to Penny’s bill. Thank you in advance. I hate doing this and don’t expect anything from anyone.
