Alyssa is a 28-year-old, middle school Special Education English teacher from Staten Island. In her free time, she is always on the go either performing gigs as a singer, being a vocal coach for other aspiring artists, and an office manager. Alyssa recently got engaged to the love of her life, Frankie this past November. She is the best sister, daughter, friend, teacher and person in the entire world.

On July 14th, Alyssa woke up in unbearable pain after being treated for back pain for a few months and decided to take a trip to the ER. This trip ended up becoming an extended hospital admittance due to Alyssa's advocacy for herself that something was not right. On July 26, the diagnosis came back as stage 4 diffused large b-cell lymphoma, a type of non Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
