Dolly’s medical expenses and recovery costs

Hi my name is Jesse.

I was taking my dogs to the dog beach today. They both get so excited when we go to the beach. As soon as I opened the back door they both jumped out. Dolly is a dachshund and Shooter is a big 130# Heinz 57. When they both jumped it took me by surprise I did catch them both but needed to put them down, before I could do anything Dolly turned to the water and a lady ran her over. Right in front of my eyes.

Dolly now needs surgery to repair her pelvis. Surgery will be anywhere from 5000-10000 dollars. I really cannot afford that much and this dog means the world to my wife, kid, and myself. It’s gotten her through some hard times alone it is truly her companion.

Dolly means everything to me as well but spends most of her time with her mom. I don’t want to contribute more to the pain her mom feels when working out of town.

I'm looking for some help to cover the cost of surgery. This dog is a huge part of our family and I don’t know what I’d do without her kisses and being able to nibble her little belly.
