Sean's Brain Surgery

I humbly come to you asking for help to save my precious son's life, to get him to a Neurosurgeon that can successfully perform his upcoming brain surgery.  My son, Sean Matussek, is only 28 years old and has a beautiful family, a sweet 2 year old son, Gavin, and the love of Sean's life, Malorie.   Sean has extremely rare brain conditions/Neuralgias that require brain surgery by the best Neurosurgeon possible due to the severity of his surgery.  

Sean has three confirmed brain conditions:

• Nervous Intermedias Neuralgia (also known as Geniculate Neuralgia)

• Trigeminal Neuralgia

• Vestibulocochlear Neuralgia

• Plus 2 to 3 more Neuralgias (they will know once they have opened his skull and are in his brain)

These diseases, dealing with the cranial nerves, are some of the most painful known to mankind and are on Sean's brain.  He has numerous mini seizures, or also described as electric jolts, throughout the day and he has been dealing with these diseases for over 400 days!  He needs help to get to Neurosurgeons that his HMO will not cover. His "in group doctors" have requested over 9 referrals for him to go out of group and they have all been denied!  They have admitted their group does not have a neurosurgeon that can successfully perform the surgery, so we are battling to go out of network.  Most of the Neurosurgeons we have seen or talked to charge by the 10 to 20 minute segments, with a minimum of $500 to $750 for a consultation.  

Due to Sean's Neuralgia lying deep in the brain stem it does require the best surgeon we can find.  Sean has been dealing with excruciating pain for over a year now and has a short window for best recovery and least amount of risks.
