I am writing on behalf of Jorge and Brenda, who find themselves needing your help at this moment in their lives. Jorge recently went to Ciudad Juarez in Mexico, to interview with the U.S. Consular Office there for his Visa. Unfortunately, there was a complication in obtaining the Visa, and Jorge and Brenda now request your support.
As we pursue a review of Jorge’s case, Brenda is lacking the finances to keep up the cost of living in the Bay Area as well as pay for the legal fees that are needed to bring Jorge home. With suddenly only Brenda’s income to fall back on, this has created a financial hardship for them which has been very stressful.
Brenda’s living expenses have greatly increased since Jorge is currently unable to help in paying all the monthly bills. In the past, of course, they paid all the bills together. Brenda would also like to send money to Jorge, to help him with living expenses as this process unfolds.
We are particularly concerned with the legal fees we are facing almost immediately - $2000 is needed to hire the attorney; $5000 is required for the waiver; and an additional $930 will be needed for the filing fee. This is if everything goes as planned. As you can see, the challenges are many for Brenda and Jorge – and the funds are needed ASAP to start the legal process Thank you so much for considering to help us as we strive to reunite our family.
