*Update*

Bear is 6 days post op and unfortunately he has an infection that has caused the skin of the incision to break down resulting in a hole in the incision. We are awaiting the swabs to come back to determine which antibiotics will fight this but he will require another surgery to flush the wound, remove any dead skin and reseal the area. We have exhausted the funds originally raised (thank you so much to all who helped) and spent any savings we have had to ensure he gets the best care to nurse him back to full health. He is currently at home with us untill the results are in, his wound requires cleaning every hour as, as you can imagine there is blood and all sorts coming from the hole. We reach out once more and it breaks us to ask again for any kind donations towards his surgery which is looking to be another £2,000 +,

But meet Mr Bear,

The legend.

Bear was entrusted to us nearly 2 years due to a death in the family and his owner being unable to give him what he needs, sadly things have changed on her end and she is unable to contribute the full amount to Bears op and after care...

Several weeks ago we discovered a lump on him, to which we have had biopsied and has been diagnosed with cancer. He needs to have the lump removed and a full body scan to see the extent of things...

We are looking to raise money towards this and hoping all the kind people who know and love him may able to help contribute something small,

He is our heart and soul and has touched so many people's lives,

He leaves a fur trail of love and fluff behind him wherever he goes,

At 8 and half years old, there is plenty of life in the ol' dog yet and we are hoping this op and after care will ensure he has more years of helping everyone and living his best life,
