On the night of November 26th while traveling home from work on his electric bike, Dale was struck by a car. He was transported from the accident via ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where he underwent 4 different surgeries by multiple specialist in order to repair the multiple fractures he sustained.
After nearly a full month in the hospital recovering from his injuries and surgeries, he was recently released to continue his healing at home. Even though Dale is out of the hospital now, he still has a long road of recovery ahead of him - with his left femur and both wrists broken, his job as a server at Elizabeth’s isn’t possible for the foreseeable future. Dale is also going to need extensive physical therapy to aid in his recovery effort.
Dale is an irreplaceable part of our Elizabeth’s family, and we have definitely felt the void of his presence this past month. If you’ve ever met Dale, we know you get it. The funds raised here will help to cover Dale’s bills as he heals. Focusing on his body’s healing is enough of a load to carry right now, so let’s help to lighten the stress and worry of financial needs, so he can do the most important thing, which is to focus on healing.
