My name is Karen and I’m handling and set up the Go Fund me page on behalf of my very good friend …LINDA HANLEY and beautiful pooch LUNA ….in Linda’s words:-

Luna is my 3 1/2 year old fur baby, I’m not exaggerating when I tell you she literally is my life and my reason for living.

Christmas Day started off just like any other until Luna was out playing with her brother. Somehow Luna hurt her hind leg and came in limping. My initial thought was that she had just landed funny and twisted her leg.

luna is registered with the blue cross due to disabilities beyond my control so off we went expecting to be sent away with pain meds and instructions on complete rest .

But this is where the night mare began. I was told Luna had a full cruciate ligament tear which needed an expensive operation.

The blue cross have told me that they cannot perform such a complex operation and therefore I would have to find a private vet. At this point my world fell apart. After many phone calls getting different prices ranging up to £6000 I went to see Luca Vets in Market Rasen.

I now have a price for the cruciate ligament repair at £2200 from the lovely vet called Tony at Luca Vets.

imperative that Luna gets the surgery sooner rather than later . I’ve never done anything like this before and I don’t feel good about doing it now, but I need to try to save my baby girl and get her out of pain.
