I have a very dear friend who is going through an extremely hard time right now . Her name is Maria and she is 23 years old. Two years ago, after not feeling well, a checkup eventually led to finding out she was in kidney failure . At the time, she was in Stage 3!

Fast forward two years to the present, she is now in Stage 5 CKD!

Just recently, she found that she is using only 3% of her kidneys and had to start dialysis three times a week .

She is in desperate need of a kidney transplant! The goal of $5000 will greatly help with the cost of her dialysis trips, which are 3 times a week, as well as go towards her down payment, so they can begin the Donor searching process!

She had to drop out of school and is currently unemployed due to the numerous medical appointments.

I am trying to save up money myself to help her, but I am so worried about time itself .

She is the most amazing and sweetest girl I have ever known . Also the strongest and bravest! I watch her sitting there doing her dialysis, in pain, in tears , yet still trying to smile and encourage others on her little TikTok blog who are going through the same thing .
