We are excited to share with you all that we will be participating in the Pride of Yorkshire Little Pride sculpture trail in support of Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity. This project follows the previous Bears of Sheffield trail.
The project has set itself the ambitious fundraising target of £2.8 million to support cutting-edge research, vital new medical equipment, and therapeutic activities that bring warmth, innovation and excellence to every corner of Sheffield Children’s. We feel privileged to be able to be able to contribute to this goal and to support an institution which will have supported many of our families.
Our fundraising efforts will begin with a ‘sponsored hour’ which will take place on Friday 7th November. We will all be choosing an activity we enjoy and spending one hour completing it in school. This could be anything from reading or drawing to a physical challenge or creative task. We are hoping to have lots of fun, show commitment, and make a positive contribution to this wonderful cause. The class who is able to collect the most sponsorship money will also be able to slime their teacher and if, as a school, we manage to collectively reach our target of £950, we will slime our incredible headteacher, Mrs Bullen!
