Tyler White - After Accident Care

I'm Bill - I'm Tyler's Dad. A few weeks ago, Tyler sustained injuries following an accident which left him with 3rd degree burns to over 40 percent of his body. Unfortunately, the details of the accident are extremely limited as he doesn't remember exactly what happened and the emotional trauma that he's experienced is keeping those memories locked in his mind.

Tyler was admitted to the burn unit at the University of Alberta Hospital and treated for his injuries - which include the entire front part of his body and extensively across his head. It will take some time before the extent and long term effects of the burn injuries will be known.

Tyler has since been moved to Cold Lake and is continuing to receive dressing changes from the Cold Lake Clinic

Why are we asking for help? Tyler was prepared to start a new job up near Slave Lake before the accident happened and is without medical insurance. Unfortunately, the bills are starting to pile up and we need some help. I am looking into some alternative options, but it's impossible to know when those will become available, if at all.

Tyler and I would never ask for help unless we were in a really rough spot - and we're there. We would appreciate any help that you can offer. Just an update on the situation, Tyler has been turned down by our programs such as Disability, AISH etc due to the fact I was making transfers to his account so that he may get his meds among other things, he has more surgeries upcoming and once again he will be out of commission for awhile. He also has been dealing with infections that complicates issues. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who have donated to this cause, I appreciate you all.
