Our dear beautiful friend Anita, just 38 years old, was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and began chemotherapy on May 6, 2026. She is facing this fight with courage, positivity, and hope, but still has a difficult journey ahead that will include chemo, surgery and radiation.

Anita is a devoted mother to her 10-year-old son Alex and 12-year-old daughter Amelia, and a loving wife to Vic. Anita worked with 911 Police Fire and EMS for 12 years, she currently is with Information Management with the City. Anita had begun training for a new career in massage therapy and is only two months from finishing the first year of her two-year program when treatment interrupted her plans.

Ongoing chemotherapy brings not only physical challenges but mounting financial strain for Anita and her family. We’d like to help lift that burden so she can concentrate on healing and being with her loved ones, not worrying about bills. Any contribution—large or small—will make a real difference.
