Please note that it took a lot for me to do this and throughout the whole ordeal, I kept my joy and am now asking for help. Nothing is too small. On December 27 the pipes in my former residence froze and the furnace went out. My former landlord was notified immediately and asked me and my husband to find someone to look at it. At the time the temperature was below 0 and the local plumbers/HVAC companies were booked. When I finally found one, the pipes had already unfroze and busted causing my water company to have to shut off water completely after the house flooded. So now we had no water or heat. The HVAC guy gave my landlord a quote and because of the price and her not having insurance, she refused to pay. During this time my husband was terminated from his job for calling out because of the situation. This went on for a month and then I finally called code enforcement. They came out and deemed the house uninhabitable and said we had to find something within 2 weeks which didn’t happen. Because we had no family or friends in the area, we had to endure in the house until we decided to relocate to an area where we could be closer to people we know in case of emergencies. Since relocating, my husband and I have obtained jobs in the area but had to stay in a hotel until finding suitable housing. We have found a new place to move to but don’t have the funds for the security deposit and haven’t been able to save much living in the hotel which is expensive. I am currently doing my dialysis treatments in center but will be able to resume my home hemo treatments as soon as we move in. Please help if you can. I sincerely thank you in advance and I pray that God blesses you immensely
