Around Thanksgiving, my husband Jon was diagnosed with stage 4 brain tumor that has progressed very quickly. He underwent surgery in hopes of removing as much of the tumor as possible, but unfortunately, some remains. As a result, Jon lost his ability to speak, which has been incredibly difficult for him and for those who love him.

Before Jon got sick, I was taking care of my mother, but I couldn’t manage my mom and my husband; it would have been overwhelming emotionally, physically, and financially. This fundraiser is to help cover the cost of traveling back and forth to Jon’s therapies twice a week, as well as ongoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Any donations, no matter the amount, would mean more than words can express and would help ease some of the burden during this incredibly challenging time.
