Beat Lymphoma - Buddy Morsello
Donation protected
Buddy Morsello was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. He's not asking for help but as a hard working dad of two young boy's and husband to wife Stephanie he has a road ahead of him. Let's show our support for the Morsello family and allow him to focus on his recovery.
From Stephanie: Around the same time that our son, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder, began talking for the first time (he has been non verbal for 5 years), buddy started noticing hard lumps in his neck, stomach issues and aches all over his body. After many doctors visits, incorrect diagnosis, X-rays, blood draws, & CT scans - 5 months later we have a diagnosis. Stage 4, Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Additionally, he has two, 13cm lymphoid masses in his abdomen (about 2 softballs). These cannot be surgically removed. Chemo therapy starts this week and will continue for the next 6 months, along with the 5 medications he will be on daily. We’ve had to create a sanitary space for him to basically live in since we are exposed to the public daily. I left my full time job during the pandemic so that I could properly assist our son with special needs through remote learning, speech therapy and Occupational Therapy. As of this year, I work part-time while he attends school. I cannot work during the summer as I care for him and take him to his appointments. Buddy has been on short term disability since December and we aren’t sure when that runs out.
