Help UMD Music Student in MN Replace Stolen Tuba

I'm Kolin's Aunt. My sweet and amazing nephew had his – EASTMAN TUBA MODEL EBB534 – stolen in Duluth, MN on December 17, 2019.  View Kolin's story on the news here.   We really appreciate all the kindness, and want to take this opportunity to share Kolin’s story in hopes someone would come forward with information, or by some miracle, his Tuba will be found in one piece and returned to him. 

Kolin is a Music Performance Major studying at The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD). This was a very special instrument given to him by his parents in 2015 for Christmas, and his heart is broken over this huge loss.  It was reported to the police and has been shared on social media, but sadly we have not heard anything yet.   Many generous people have been messaging our family wanting to help Kolin offset the cost of replacing the tuba where insurance leaves off.  We are all so grateful for all the love and support for Kolin, just not certain how much will be covered by insurance at this time.  Any additional funds raised here over what is needed out of his pocket to replace his tuba will go to help the non-profit Bluebird Foundation in Duluth, MN which supports youth and the performing arts.  We’re still hopeful his tuba will be found, and if his tuba is returned, everything raised on GoFundMe will be donated to The Bluebird Foundation .
