Many know Derek as the larger than life guy, who would give his last penny to someone in need. Many also know the joking, smart ass that he his. But most important he is a father and a husband.
On October 16, 2015 Derek was diagnosed with stage 2 Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. Thankfully Derek's job offers insurance, however he has a high deductible and coming to the end of the year he is going to have to pay it all over again. There is also going to be times that he is going to have to take unpaid time off for treatment.
I would like to think that the man who has helped so many in his life would have the favor returned to him. We all know that every little bit helps. If you can't donate money please donate a prayer or a word of encouragement.
