Hello, my name is Ava Agnes Mayer. I am a 16 year old ballerina in training and have just been accepted into the prestigious Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington, DC. I would absolutely love to attend this esteemed school due to their wonderful reputation, renowned faculty, and the beautiful dancers they've produced under the Vagonova training method. Unfortunately the costs are quite unrealistic for my family's financial situation, especially considering I have a sister who also needs expenses paid for college (she attends NYU Tisch). Whatever amount you would consider contributing would be so much appreciated!!
My age is a very pivotal age to get as much ballet training as possible, seeing that ballet companies look for dancers when they're as young as 17 or 18 years old. Please help me reach my goal!
I have attended the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in NYC for two summers (in 2013 and 2015), the School of American Ballet summer intensive for one summer (in 2014), and Ellison Ballet's Two Week Classical Variations Intensive for two summers (in 2013 and 2015). This past Semester I had the wonderful opportunity of training at the Nutmeg Conservatory, in Torrington Connecticut. Prior to that I received my ballet training from Denise Limoli at Skidmore College and from a local school called The Decker School of Ballet.

Here I am prior to performing my Satanella Variaiton at the Youth America Grand Prix Competition.

This photo was taken by my brilliant sister, Tess Mayer, who is an aspiring photographer studying in NYC at NYU Tisch.

This is yet another photo of me by Tess Mayer when I was around 14 years old. Here I am wearing my La Bayadere Shades tutu, a ballet from which I performed one of the variations for the Youth America Grand Prix. I received top 12 that year in my female junior division.
