GET NALA HOME

Nala was found, abandoned late at night outside a local park in Shanghai. The next day it was discovered that she was left outside by her "owner" who no longer wanted her. At the time, she was no older than 2 months old so she was a tiny ball of fluff. The person who found her couldn't adopt her as he lived alone and worked during the day.
As soon as we saw the pictures of her we fell in love with her instantly. Then when we met her, we knew we couldn't leave her. She was (and still is) such a loving, friendly and lively little puppy and you wouldn't have thought she had such a traumatic start to life the way she reacted anytime she saw a human.
She's been our dog since July/August and although she can be a rascal who chews socks and ruins skirting boards we wouldn't change her for the world.
Our plan when we first got her was always to bring her back to Scotland after our adventures in Shanghai. We always knew it would be an expensive journey for her (people said around 30,000RMB or £3500) so we planned to stay in Shanghai for another year or so and save up the money.
Then we received the exciting news that we are expecting our first child!
This threw a spanner in the works of our plan and we are expecting to go home in March/April 2021.
With that, we are looking for some help offloading the cost of transporting Nala.
Due to the pandemic, airfare and pet transportation have sky rocketed and now prices being quoted to us to take Nala home with us. The going rate now is 55,000 RMB (£6,300) and nothing we have been quoted is less than this which you can imagine was stressful to find out with our baby on the way.
We have set a target of 50% because, even if we're able to reach this target, it will be a massive help for us in the long run.
We know 2020 has been a tough year for most due to COVID but any donation you can make would mean the world to us and we truly would appreciate it.
