Help Victoria's Family Rebuild After Fire

The nursery had recently been finished and accessorized in beautiful greens for the baby boy that would arrive in 8 weeks, when my neighbor's family home was engulfed in flames.

We had been walking our dog, when we saw the smoke and heard the trucks racing in the direction of our house. Relief turned to sorrow when I saw my house standing with Mayson and his bulldog puppy, Humphrey, sitting in our yard while his home burned to the ground.

There was no warning, I was told. The house went up in minutes. Thankfully, Victoria was at work at the time. Devon got Mayson and Humphrey to safety but sadly, their bearded dragon, Savage, perished.

They will need to replace all of their clothes, belongings and find new housing before the baby arrives. The list of things is endless and overwhelming. Beyond their basic needs, there are other medical issues that are causing stress to this young family.
