September 24th, 2025. This is a date that will be with me, my niece, my mother, her father, our brothers, and all our family and loved ones for the rest of our lives. That is the day my big sister Nikki had a cardiac and respritory arrest and was put into a medically induced coma.

September 28th, 2025 is the second date that will always be with us. This is the date we were informed that she has no brain activity. This is the date we all agreed that at 37 years old it was best to let her go than to put her body thru anything more.

This is also the date I found out that her daughter will be coming to live with me perminately.

I am asking for help for 2 reasons. I live in Pennsylvania and they in Florida. While I traveled down I still have to hire a laywer to get legal guardianship of my niece. I also am in charge of making the after life arrangements for my sister. With these expenses I also will have to purchase new clothes for my niece and dependant mother who was under my sisters care because I have to move them north.

I will remember the precious time when I came to visit my dear sister and my niece and we went to the beach, did arts and crafts, laughed and generally had a wonderful time together. I will remember the times growing up just being the crazy country raised kids. We were climbing trees, exploring the woods, riding bikes and just living our best lives.

My sister was in the process of purchasing a large empty lot so she could rescue homeless and abused animals. She has always had a big heart for animals. Growing up bringing rabits and other animals (I even heard about a skunk once) into the house because they were injured or sick. She currently has a dog, 9 cats, a turkey, ducks and chickens that I also have to find great loving homes for.

If i keep on about all the memories and her life it will be a book. And so I will end here and thank anyone who even takes the time to read about my sister. She was a loving sister and a mother, and a daughter, we will all miss her greatly.
