Hi, my name is Tim. I am fundraising for medical bills not covered by insurance. Due to my illnesses, I have been unable to work since June 19, 2021; starting March 2022, I have not been getting a paycheck. I have been diagnosed with gastroparesis, chronic pancreatitis, and non-alcoholic liver damage. I have severe abdominal pain with distention for about four years before finally being diagnosed. There is no cure for gastroparesis, just symptom management. I have been in and out of emergency rooms and hospitals with no help. They stabilize me with hydration and pain management, then release me. I have home health, palliative care, and physical therapy, which come to my house multiple times a week. Unfortunately, my medical insurance does not cover UCLA, which is the only place I have found that knows how to treat my illnesses. My medical bills are adding up without receiving a paycheck, and we cannot pay for the treatment needed to keep me healthy and stable. I am a married man with four boys aged 21, 18, 9, and 5. Any funds will be used for medical bills.
