TVHS Biosustainability is a science elective class at Temecula Valley High School. Students build, repair and manage an aquaponics system in a student-built 65x30’ greenhouse. The produce from our system is donated to our Culinary Arts program and to our local food bank.
In addition to managing the aquaponics system, students have selected a special project this year of farming food grade mushrooms. Students are planning a small classroom mycology setup to grow mushrooms for Culinary Arts students.
