My name is Marie, and on 8/6/25 my grandmother passed away at age 64. My mom and I both want to raise money to have her cremated, to put all of her belongings in a safe space, and to have a funeral for her as we cannot afford it, but still want to fulfill my grandmother's dying wishes, as well as other things.

She was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that spread to her lungs only once it was too late to be treated, and was told she didn't have much time left. She sat down with her close family and informed us about the news, she told us that her main wish was to be cremated so that each of us could hang on to a small part of her once she'd passed. She was very clear about what she wanted.

I'm not sure about what the exact costs will be, but this is the cost that I've come up with by using Google:

- Full-service funeral with cremation: $6000-$9000 (in Delaware)
