Jacobs Funeral Expenses

Our baby Jacob Solomon Ortiz recently passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 25th 2021 @1:30am. Jacob was an intelligent son, a loving brother and a caring friend to those around him. He leaves behind loving parents Alex and Zuriel along with his beloved siblings Eli, Isabella, and Romeo.

Jacob dedicated his life to helping and loving anyone whom he encountered, befriending the unfriendly, loving the unlovable as well as-having a special talent in connecting with the lost souls of this world. He would take the clothes off of his back for someone in need, even when he didn’t have enough for himself. He would gladly give his last dime to anyone that asked. He always made sure everyone around him was taken care of. Jacob made ripples touching life’s of everyone that crossed his path. Jacob had an adventurous spirit and loved to discover new things. Jacob graduated from Taos High School and enrolled into Taos UNM College to study welding and engineering in hopes to fulfill his dreams of marrying his childhood sweetheart,  Madelynn Maes and providing a future for her. Anyone that was close to Jacob new that he loved to sing and was a fan of oldies and classics like Frank Sinatra. He was an old soul at heart.
We are all devastated by Jacob’s loss as it is an unexpected death. We were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Jacob the memorial he deserves to honor his legacy and to say our final goodbyes.



I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Jacob’s funeral. We need to raise$5000 by March 30, 2021 in order to cover all costs. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
