Saving Tangi Humane Society

The Tangi Humane Society has been part of the Tangipahoa Parish community since 2007, helping animals that need it the most-- cruelty cases, cases of severe neglect, animals that most wouldn't dare to take on. But they are struggling to keep their doors open. They have served a very important role in our area, and it would be a huge loss to our community and the animals in it if we were to lose them. You have probably seen a number of fundraisers over the last year as well as pleas for help to keep Tangi going. While many people have stepped up and helped, Tangi is still not where it needs to be to insure it's survival. The cost of taking in these extremely ill animals is much higher than most realize, and many of Tangi's largest benefactors have also passed away recently. Although the recent fundraisers have helped keep the rescue afloat temporarily, they have unfortunately not been enough to secure its existence long-term. Please consider making a one-time or monthly/annual donation to this wonderful organization. And please consider volunteering. We can't afford to lose them and neither can all of the animals in our area who are in need! Thank you for your help!
