Mans Best friend

In these trying times when many of us are in need it’s easy to become overwhelmed with our own issues. Sometimes hearing about another’s misfortunate makes us realize how small our problems truly are.

It’s important to remind ourselves we are all in this together. Unfortunately a member of our JBar family is currently in deeper than most. As many others in the hospitality industry, he is currently unemployed and there is uncertainty whether his job will even reopen. Last night Joe’s dog Alphonse, his companion of ten years, attacked him. Joe spent the night in the hospital undergoing reconstructive surgery. Like many bartenders he does not have insurance. Now he is on a long road to recovery, unemployed for an uncertain amount of time and without his best friend Alphonse.
