Melody was in a bad car accident :( please help!

My name is Sarah and I am Melody's mom. Melody was in a bad accident on Monday afternoon.

Another driver didn't stop at the stop sign and drove right in front of her while she was driving down through the intersection. They collided.

Melody's car spun out, hit and knocked down the power pole, and then firefighters had to carry her out of the car. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

She couldn't move her legs or feet for a few hours and we feared paralysis. Turns out an open wound allowed air into the body and it turned into gas in her muscles. After about 10 hours she started to get feeling back in her legs and feet.

What she felt was excruciating pain. Her body is broken, sprained, and cut. She will heal up but it will take a few months before she is able to walk around comfortably. She even managed to break her sterum!

She won't be able to work during this time and her partner also had to take time off work to help care for Melody.
