Time to Rebuild

UPDATE:

The Logans have made some progress in their home: paint, cabinets, and bathroom fixture installation. And we are so thankful for the generosity of those who have made it happen. Unfortunately, the rebuilding has come to a halt, as funds have run out, and contractors don't tend to work without pay! There's so much finishing work left to get the house habitable, and it feels insurmountable. They're about $30,000 away from where they need to be. If you can help, please don't wait!

Shortly after closing on their home in January 2022, Tom and Sandy learned that it was full of mold and needed thorough remediation and reconstruction to be habitable. Remediation has now been completed, and reconstruction is underway. While their lawyer works to determine where liability may lie, it could take several years to reach a settlement. Until then, the crippling cost of all this rests squarely on their shoulders. Many of the Logans' friends and family have expressed an interest in helping financially, in hopes of getting them into their home as soon as possible.
