I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this—but here I am, trying to stay above water while life keeps throwing curveballs.

A few months ago, I had a stroke. While recovering, doctors found blockage in my heart valves. It wasn’t severe enough for surgery, so I was put on medication and eventually cleared to return to work. I was hopeful things were finally turning around.

But recently, I received more devastating news—my kidneys aren’t functioning properly causing my bum heart to overwork Because of this, I’ve been pulled off work again and now have to wait until August 7th to even see a kidney specialist. In the meantime, bills are stacking up fast, and I haven’t received anything from short-term disability yet.

I’ve always tried to be independent and handle things on my own for my son and I , which makes asking for help incredibly difficult. But right now, I need support. Anything you’re able to donate would go directly to keeping a roof over my head, covering basic living expenses, and helping me stay focused on my health instead of survival.
