Hi everyone,

I’m posting this on behalf of a strong and loving single mother and her two children, who are currently experiencing homelessness after losing their rental when the property was sold.

She lives with physical disabilities and has been doing everything possible to protect her children while searching for permanent housing. Currently, the family is displaced with no stable place to stay, and the cold temperatures make this situation especially hazardous.

Their most urgent need is temporary shelter — such as hotel, motel, or inn stays — so the children have a warm, safe place to sleep while housing applications are processed. No family should have to face the possibility of sleeping in unsafe conditions, especially children.

Funds will be used for:

Hotel/motel shelter to stay warm and safe

Transportation to shelter locations and appointments

Food and daily necessities

Storage of belongings while displaced

Application fees and deposits for permanent housing

Every donation helps provide immediate safety and gives this family time to secure stable housing. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser makes a huge difference.

If you know someone with a rental property in New Jersey, please let us know.

Please help keep this family warm, safe, and together.
