This is Jet - he's the sweetest boy and long time companion of my best friend, Morgan. His recent diagnosis of a corneal rupture requires immediate repair, made possible by a $5,000 surgery. The doctor says that due to his older age and kidney disease (which is being managed), it is a gamble as to whether or not he will wake up from anesthesia.

In a week, Jet will revisit the vet to get blood work done to determine if, based on his kidney function, he is a good candidate for the surgery. Should the vet give the go-ahead, he will need the surgery right away.

Jet is the best, happiest pup; still full of so much zest for life, love for cuddles, and all the treats that good boys like him deserve.
