Honoring Natalie Sanchez (Team Natty)

On December 23rd, my sister Natalie received her angel wings. Her earthly body was sick and she was tired. My strong sister fought for months and showed how much of a warrior she truly was in her short time here on earth.

As my family navigates grief during this holiday season, we also must prepare for a funeral. This is something we never thought we would have to do, especially during the week of Christmas and the week of her 22nd birthday. We have had many people reach out and ask how they can help us during this time. The donations we receive from this fundraiser will go towards Natalie's Celebration of Life. Any donations we receive that exceed the cost of her service will be donated to Mayo Clinic Hospital. Our family was blessed to have met some of the most caring and brilliant individuals in health care while Natalie received care at the Mayo Clinic. We hope that their research team can learn from Natalie's illness and help another family overcome their battle with liver disease. #TeamNatty
