I'm Michael Yu, part of the heart and soul behind Black Flour, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating food insecurity through the power of nutritious bread. I have experienced the struggle of food insecurity firsthand. Not having ready access to nutritious food impacts a person's life.

A decade-long study in bread baking and a heart for helping others have equipped me with the expertise to bake artisan bread and distribute the bread to the community. All this, combined with my passion to make a difference, led to the birth of Black Flour. Black Flour provides bread to local shelters and individuals at little to no cost.
