My sister in law’s apartment caught on fire yesterday and is deemed a total loss. They are unsure of the cause of the fire, but it started in the kitchen, possibly electrical as she wasn’t cooking anything. She went to lay down, smelled smoke, and the kitchen was engulfed in flames. She and her cat, Donny, made it ok. Thankfully!!
After suffering two strokes, her medical bills, medication and monthly rent and bills leaves little left over to replace everything she needs to live. She literally has only the clothes on her back. Everything is destroyed.
