Our oldest brother, Patrick Moore, at age 48, suffered from an Ischemic Stroke on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019. He had a headache, and a few hours later was having right side paralysis and speaking issues.
This has been tough on many levels for all of us. Pat is Father of 4 sons, Grandfather of 2, and a Husband. He served in the Army, and has helped countless people over his 20 years of being a Respiratory Therapist. Two of his sons are currently serving in the Army.
We are so grateful for all of the prayers and support offered to the family at this time. We are hopeful for more recovery, as he has a long road of healing ahead of him.
Therapies will include physical, speech, and occupational several times a week until he can walk and talk and regain some skills.
Ambulance transport, Reston Hospital, transfer to Fairfax Hospital, surgery to remove his clot, and Neuro ICU for 3 days, then a transfer to the stroke unit is all happening for Pat without any Medical Insurance coverage.
We are hoping to ease the financial burden for him to concentrate on getting better. Please help us as you can financially, as well as continued prayer. Thank You!
