Shitty Little Doodles For A Very Good Boy

Hey!

My name is Kaz, and if you know me, you probably know I have a really cool dog named Hunter—mostly because I never shut up about him. If you haven’t heard about him yet, he’s a Pitbull/Husky mix, the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet, and truly all a girl could ever ask for.

The bad news is…

On April 14, 2025, Hunter was diagnosed with lymphoma—a type of cancer that attacks a dog’s immune system. Think of a dog’s immune system like an army protecting the body from germs. It has special soldiers called lymphocytes, which live in places like the lymph nodes (those little bean-shaped things under the skin), spleen, and bone marrow.

With lymphoma, those lymphocyte soldiers go rogue—they grow out of control, crowd out healthy cells, and make the dog feel sick.

The good news is…

Lymphoma is treatable. While it’s not curable, with the right care, my good boy can still live a long, comfy, and happy life.

That’s where I could use a little help. I want to give Hunter the best care possible, and any support—no matter how small—is deeply appreciated.

I made him a promise that I’d always look out for him the way he’s looked out for me all these years. And I’m a girl of my word.
