Hi, my name is Destiny Bowman. My mother went in for a heart catheterization on May 23rd and discovered she had several heart blockages on both sides of her heart. She will have to have an open heart surgery on May 26th. It will be a quadruple bypass and they will take a large vein from her leg to do so. She has severe diabetes so she's at a high risk for infection. When she is released she will need around the clock care until she is completely healed. With my father the only income, we are trying to raise money to help cover some medical bills and to help pay for my father to take some time off of work to help take care of her.
